Our Story
Stephanie and Andrew's Story
Stephanie and Andrew started dating in the Fall of 2018.
Their first date was at Devereaux, the Viceroy Hotel's rooftop bar in Chicago's Gold Coast neighborhood. Stephanie stunned in a red sundress that Andrew will never forget. He was also impressed that she ordered an Old Fashioned.
After an impromptu Fall Out Boy concert at Wrigley Field and road trip to Indy for a Renaissance Faire weekend – Andrew & Stephanie were hot n' heavy. He knew it was especially getting serious when she asked him to her company's famous Christmas Party. She works for an Event Marketing Agency, so you know their holiday party is a big deal.
2019 brought friends' weddings, 4th of July at Lake Wawasee in Indiana with Stephanie's best friend's family, another Renaissance Faire in Kenosha, and New Year's Eve together with friends in Chicago.

2020 brought us our sweet puppy, Lottie.
And yes, being locked down for many months during the pandemic in Chicago, did help forge the two's relationship even stronger. Stephanie then spent her first Christmas in Kansas City with Andrew's family – and their relationship was ready to take the next step in the following year.
In 2022 Andrew and Stephanie officially became roommates. They also really got to know each other's entire family. Andrew's family became obsessed with completing Escape Rooms.

By the end of 2022 – Andrew knew that Stephanie was the one. So when the calendar turned to 2023 – Andrew began to make some moves. He visited the first diamond jeweler when they were in Kansas City, about to depart on a month-long road trip to stay with Stephanie's mother in Tucson, AZ.
After they had returned to Chicago, later that summer, Andrew was happen-chanced introduced to a local jeweler in the Chicagoland area by a coworker. After many secret, back-and-forth text messages, CAD review sessions, and in-person meetings, Andrew secured the ring.
Andrew proposed to Stephanie on December 8th, 2023. She said "yes!"
Now begins the next chapter of their lives together.
Stephanie and Andrew are so excited for their family and friends to celebrate their love for each other on October 4th, 2025 in Kansas City.
